There are no drivers in LPC open library for Qei interfacing. Can anyone share an example to interface QEI using LPCOPEN with LPC43xx or LPC17xx boards.

What you have shared is totally different. It is of no use to me as I want to implement it using lpc open lib. on LPC43xx.
