MDIO Support on FLEXCOMMs

Greetings,

I'm using an NXP LPC55S28JBD100 to communicate with I2C and MDIO devices. In the MCUXpresso IDE's PINS tool, I see pins in the FLEXCOMM3 display listed as MDIO and MDC. Can FLEXCOMM3 operate as an MDIO master? Or, can I use MDIO on any FLEXCOMM interface?

Sincerely,

Bill Long

Hi EdwinHz,

Thank you for the prompt reply. I'm using SDK v2.15.100. I didn't think MDIO was supported but I saw it in the display, so I thought I'd check.

Hi @Bill6,

What SDK version are you using? I don't see any pin label to be MDIO on the LPC55S28JBD100, because this LPC does not support this feature. Perhaps it's an error on a previous SDK version.

BR,
Edwin.
