I have recently received a new consignment of LPC5502JBD64E. They have a pin 1 identification dot in one corner. Then they have a second pin 1 identification dot in the diagonally opposite corner.
Which pin 1 identification dot represents pin 1?
I haven't got one with me right now, but they are both circular depressions, exactly what is commonly in use as a pin 1 identification mark. One is slightly bigger than the other.
Hello @ianbenton,
Could you please send us the photograph of your microcontrollers when you have the opportunity? It would be very useful. Meanwhile, please refer to Chapter 4. Marking of the LPC55S0x/LPC550x datasheet for more information. Also, it might come in handy to use the NXP logo and information print position in the microcontroller as a guide to know which dot is pointing to pin 1.
