The user manual seems to indicate that you can use the EMC with SDRAM in the 100-pin package (it contains all required dynamic signals), however AN11508 says that the chips only support 16/32 bit SDRAM devices.  Any guidance on using the 8-bit data bus on the TFBGA100 for SDRAM?  Configurations for DYNAMICCONFIG0-1?

Hi Sabina.  I had noticed that post, but it didn't really answer my questions.  I can electrically connect the SDRAM to the LPC1812, but how should the EMC be configured?  What DYNAMICCONFIG[0:1] address map setting do I use?  How does the memory mapping work with only an 8-bit external data bus? What happens during a 32-bit write to the mapped area?

Hello,

This community post refers to your question. It is using an LPC43xx, however the AN11508 is for both of these as their EMC modules are the same.

Please let me know if you have follow up questions. I'll be glad to help you.

Have a nice day!

Sabina
