LPC1114FBD48/301 - replacement

Hi,

We are using LPC1114FBD48/301.

Now due to a problem with availability of this type we want to use LPC1114FBD48/302 interchangeably.

Please let me know if the code writen for LPC1114FBD48/301 will work the same on the type LPC1114FBD48/302 ?

I think that the LPC1114FBD48/302 and LPC1114FBD48/301 can be used interchangeably.

Regarding the difference between LPC1114FBD48/302 and LPC1114FBD48/301, first of all, they have the same pin assignment, same peripherals, the only difference is the power profiles, in other words, the ROM code is different.

The LPC1114FBD48/302 belongs to LPC1100L series, only the LPC1100L series has the power profiles, it provides two ROM api  functions: set_pll() and set_power().

We don't use these functions in our code and I have to be sure that it will work the same on both types.

That is, if we do not configure these functions, they have default settings that are identical to the configuration in type ... / 301?

Hi,

As I said that the LPC1114FBD48/302 and LPC1114FBD48/301 can be used interchangeably, because only ROM code is different from software, which you do not call. For the hardware, the LPC1114FBD48/302 support programmable open drain mode which you do not use. so you do not need to change any software or hardware, the LPC1114FBD48/302 and LPC1114FBD48/301 can be exchanged.
