dear,

I'm using kl05z32vlf4. i set vdd as 1.8v and remove capacitor that is added between VDD and VSS.

when i erase and write flash of the chip. the chip will reset. if i add a 0.1uf capacitor betweenVDD and SS,the chip work well.

but i must remove the capacitor. do you have another way to resolve the question through software?

Hi Baode:

Do you measure the voltage while writing and erase?

Is it possible the voltage drop down to 1.7V?

Hi Baode:

The voltage 1.7V is the lowest voltage for MCU’s VDD pin, so if the voltage below this level, the MCU will reset surely.

When program or erase, MCU will need bigger current, see below pic. So when you add decoupling capacity, which will save power and release when MCU need this power in short time.

So you could add this capacity or use other LDO, which could provide enough current quickly.
