Which method use to drive String of LED of type WS2811?

Hello,

I'm investigating about how drive a string of this type of LED:

These LED are driven is "Serial" RGB data.

But this could up to 800Khz.

Is any body has already drive this LED with a Kinetis (For me a K60 under MQX 4.2)?

Which method could be beter?

(Gpio, SPI, other??)

With/Without DMA?

The aim is to have CPU charge lower has possible!..

I'm using DMA (see NeoShield: WS2812 RGB LED Shield with DMA and nRF24L01+ | MCU on Eclipse ) or FlexIO (see NXP FlexIO Generator for the WS2812B LED Stripe Protocol | MCU on Eclipse ).

I will try with the first exemple (My Target K60 not have FlexIO)

I must adapt tis with my plateforme (MQX 4.2 on K60)
