I've been struggling with this pin for a while now. I have even pulled the rest of the components off my board and tried a few different boards. I'm also controlling PTB0 and it's behaving as expected but I can't get PTB8 to do anything. Is there some hidden function I need to disable? I'm not finding anything along those lines in the reference manual or the datasheet.

It turns out someone created the schematic symbol wrong. My hardware was actually looking at PORTA.

Hi,
So it seems a hardware issue, not a software configuration related. Hope it will work normal after changed the hardware signals.

Have you set correct mux for the pin? The default function of PTB8 is ADC0_SE11
