Is MK22FX512VLQ12 (Mask Set 1N41K) the exact same P/N as MK22FX512AVLQ12?
Also is MK22FX512VMD12 (Mask Set 1N41K) the exact same P/N as MK22FX512AVMD12?
I ask this because the MCU parts I've been using have the 'K22FX512' (1N41K) markings when I expected to see 'K22FX512A' (1N41K).
Hi lsrbigfoot ,
Thank you for your interest in NXP kinetis product, I would like to provide service for you.
talk the difference between MK22FX512VLQ12 and MK22FX512AVLQ12
MK22FX512AVLQ12 is nearly the same as MK22FX512VLQ12 .
But MK22FX512AVLQ12 have more uart register than MK22FX512VLQ12 , it is:
ARTX_AP7816A_T0, UARTX_AP7816B_T0,UARTX_WP7816A_T0,UARTX_WP7816A_T1,UARTX_WP7816B_T0,UARTX_WP7816B_T1,UARTX_WG7816_T1,UARTX_WP7816C_T1,
Wish it helps you!

.
I remember that some documentation was posted in the past which I found to be a little confusing:
https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/engineering-bulletin/EB811.pdf
EB811 mentioned MK22FX512A under Mask Set 1N41K but MK22FX512 under a different mask (3N03G).
So I have attached pics of the 2 MCU parts in question. The mask set on both parts is 1N41K but are marked as MK22FX512VLQ12/VMD12
Are these parts indeed MK22FX512VLQ12/VMD12 and not MK22FX512AVLQ12/VMD12?
Thanks in advance for the clarification.
Hi lsrbigfoot
You attached picture chip is not MK22FX512AVLQ12/VMD12, it is MK22FX512VLQ12/VMD12.
If it is "A", the chip partnumber in the chip will contains "A".
So, you don't need to consider MK22FX512AVLQ12/VMD12, still use MK22FX512VLQ12/VMD12.
Wish it helps you!
