Hi Everyone!

I need to connect two Smart-Cards to K60, UART0 and UART1 support ISO7816.

Smart-Card ISO7816 has CLK and I/O.

I/O is to be connected to appropriate UART-TX of the MCU in accordance with Reference Manual.

But where am I to connect CLK of Smart-Card?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Serge

You can connect CLK to a flex timer output pin directly.

Hi Paul,

Do we have reference design, appnote, and/or example project for Kinetis doing ISO7816 support?

Customer looking for K60 or K64 level of capability.

Regards,

David

We are also looking for the same.

Trying to connect the KL27Z to the smart card J3D081 (https://www.commoncriteriaportal.org/files/epfiles/0860b_pdf.pdf ). Just need to send the ATR and read the response over ISO7816. We have been able to get the same working on the LPC11U24 but even after spending considerable amount of time we have made much progress.

Thanks

Neel.
