KE06 KBI question

Looking into the KE06 reference manual, I noticed something I hadn't before.  On page 698, it says "The KBI module allows up to eight pins to act as additional interrupt sources."  Does this mean only 8 pins can be enabled at a time?  That seems strange if there are 32 pins available to the KBI.

Hi David,

Just as Mark have said, it is the KE06 reference manual error, KE06 each KBI module have 32 pin, so the KBI module allows up to 32 pins to act as additional interrupts sources.

From the interrupt vector assignments, we also can find it.

Thanks, I just wanted to make sure it was a typo and not a limitation that only 8 of the 32 pins can be enabled at a time.

Hi

I haven't noticed any restrictions so it is probably a cut-and-paste error in the manual since the text is shared with the KE02, which has an 8 bit KBI controller.

Regards

Mark
