FRDM KL82Z Bootloader, which File?

Hello,

I want to use the FRDM-KL82Z Board with the Kinetis Design Studio.

What do I need to upload on the Bootloader?

I couldn't find any file for it in the KDS folder, only for other boards.

How could I get started with it? I wanted to use the "Hello World" Example.

Thank you a lot

Dear Ulrich Ulrich Steinlehner,

I attached the file. Connect the device in bootloader mode. then in my PC drag the file into the BOOTLOADER, then unplug the  board and  plug it again. you should be able to debug from KDS, in the configuration select J-link or segger.

The steps to download the specific file for your board are these in case you wanted to know.

  1.  Go to SEGGER - The Embedded Experts
  2. then search for OPEN SDA and click in the first link that should send you here SEGGER - The Embedded Experts - OpenSDA / OpenSDA V2
  3. There is a table of the boards and the version needed for each board.pastedImage_3.png
  4. in the bottom of the page in the " Updating a Board That is Already Running J-Link OpenSDA Firmware " section you will find a link  click it.
  5. the page should send you here SEGGER - The Embedded Experts - Downloads - J-Link / J-Trace
  6. then look for this pastedImage_5.png
  7.  and download the version for your board.

Hope this works.

Have a great day.

Best Regards

-Jonathan
