FRDM KL46Z not showing up as mass storage device on windows 10

Just got a new FRDM KL46Z MCU and after installing the PE micro OpenSDA drivers, and plugging in the device through the SDA USB port, the device's red and green LEDs will turn on briefly before shutting off and the LCD will begin counting up in hex and no device will show up. I tried holding down reset while plugging in the device and the same situation occurred. The device does not show up in the device manager. Is my board defective or am I missing something?

Can you post some picture?

It should shows as bootloader in file system?

And check if it can download or debug.

Just to be sure: make sure you use the correct USB port (see first picture in https://mcuoneclipse.com/2013/08/06/a-new-freedom-board-frdm-kl46z/) and the green LED nearby is on?
