Are there drivers for KEA-128?

Hello Vignesh,

- There is MSCAN driver for kea-128 chip :

Kinetis KEA128 StarterTRAK CAN Applications|Freescale

And if you use the KDS IDE, you can create PE project , then there are all of the basic driver about KEA-128 .

Hi Alice,

The Code Warrior IDE also has PE.The PE in KDE IDE and Code Warrior IDE are they both same?will the both PE generate same drivers or is there any changes in the PE that both of them are having?

Hello vignesh,

No, there maybe some difference .

And the majority is the same , while it hard porting one project from one IDE to another one .

SO if you use the PE , i recommend you direct use the IDE you want to use .

Hello vignesh, yes , the updates and support products in KDS are more than in CW .

Hi vignesh balaji,

      Because the CW won't update the new kinetis product, the new kinetis product just be updated in KDS, then I suggest you use KDS.
