unique SDK path for the KDS 3.0

Hello,

I'd like to set an unique SDK path in the project properties. The problem is I share the project with Windows/Linux developers. Under Linux I have to set the path as shown

Screenshot from 2018-01-10 15-54-54.png

while under Windows I have to set the C:/Freescale/KSDK_1.3.0 path.

How can I manage this drawback? I've tried to set a ${variable path} with no success.

regards,

gaston

gaston.

I don't think there is automated conversion option for it.

User needs to modify path setting after porting.

Hi Gaston.

We can use build variable in SDK path setting, for example:

Please make sure KSDK_PATH is defined in Build Variables

I just tested above on my side, the code run normally with these settings.

Please check if this can also work for you.

Have a great day,

Hi Jennie,

The problem is the KSDK_PATH defined in Build Variables is related to the project Properties. If the project of your example above  (with KSDK_PATH set as C:\Freescale\KSDK_1.3.0) is open in a Linux environment it wont work.

An idea is to set the SDK path in Window->Preferences. But where? how?

gaston

I don't think window preference can have same feature as you mentioned.

Hi Jennie,

In this case It wont be possible to open (without path conflicts) the same project on Windows/Linux indistinctly. Could you confirm there is no workaround to solve it?
