hi i encounter a problem when i  trail to debug a project withe frdm-k82f , any help please??

Hello Mesdoua,

- Please update the firmware use the attachment "04_OpenSDA_FRDM-K82F.bin",

the steps as below :

1)Press the Reset button (and keep it pressed) while power the board with the OpenSDA USB connector(J5):.
2)  The board will show up as BOOTLOADER drive on your system:
3) Copy"04_OpenSDA_FRDM-K82F.bin" to the BOOTLOADER driver:
4) The copy operation takes about 2-3 seconds, after finished , un power the board.
5) Power the board again normally .

- Then configure the debug view as Harsh Patel mentioned .

If still can't work, please take a video  or screenshot to show your steps.

 Need some more detail to find issue but make sure following three things:

1]  Enter your correct device name in debug configuration as shown in attachment

2]  Make sure J-link and frdm board are 1 to 1 connected properly using Cable.

 3] J link is Powered On properly

hi, thank you for your answer, i just have a question if it's possible please :

There is an example who can help me or a demo folder over uart connection?

because on my project i had buy a frdm-k82f nxp board and a Fingerprint Scanner GT-511C1R, and i want to connect they with uart port TX RX like on picture , for realise a test of Fingerprint recognition,

i know that i must write a code but my question is, There is an example who can help me or a demo folder on this topic?
