I donwloaded the binary and tried to install several times, it spits out an error about unwanted newline and something about "Arch". Its a 64 bit binary and I have Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. Whats up? Anyone successful?

I had to add .deb to the file name. Then I could use the package manager to install it.

Yeah, I figured that out, they named the file .bin by default, dont know why. I thought it was an binary file to be executed by sh or bash.

I'm not sure why the extension from the file download is currently .bin. I have requested to change/fix the extension to .deb.

Thanks to David and Isaac for reporting it (along with the solution).
