Error in final launch sequence. Failed to execute MI command: -target-select remote localhost:7224

We are working with KDS 3.0.0 and KSDK 1.3.0 on the FRDM-KL03Z dev brd and frequently keep encountering this error. We try all things like resetting the board, disconnecting it, restarting KDS sometime that helps but this time nothing seems to be working.

Error message from debugger back end:

Remote communication error.  Target disconnected.: No error.

Remote communication error.  Target disconnected.: No error.

We are stuck with this error and cannot move forward. Any guidance will be of great help?
