Sometimes i'm not satisfied with the barometer based height data, how do i give priority to the GPS height information?

Within QGroundControl, you can use the circuitbreaker EKF2_HGT_MODE in order to switch the primary source of height data from barometer to GPS.
This can also be used to switch priority to a range sensor or vision sensor
