Hello, 

the ways of interfacing the FreeMASTER to 3rd party applications like Matlab is described in the FreeMASTER User Guide, section 6. There are also examples for Matlab m-script. The User Guide is accessible from the FreeMASTER's Help menu.

A short answer: the Matlab may use the FreeMASTER's ActiveX interface and use methods like ReadVariable or WriteVariable to access the target board.
