Hello,

I am trying to enable Freemaster over CAN (instead of UART or BDM) on my project using the mc9s12zvmc128 device. Is this supported?

My materials:

- FreeMASTER_Serial_Communication_Driver_V2.0

- Freemaster 3.2

- IXXAT USB-to-CAN Compact device

Hello,

FreeMASTER 3.x supports all versions of communication protocol, so it is also compatible with Serial Driver 2.0 on the S12Z. FreeMASTER detects the protocol version automatically.

I don't think the new driver has been ported back to S12Z, but the example in the 2.0 driver package should work just fine.

Regards,
Michal

If I understand well: Freemaster 3.2 is not compatible with Freemaster driver V2.0, at least for the CAN (BDM and UART works well).

Where do I find FreeMASTER Communication Driver 3.0 (S12)?
