Hi, Naasik,

Unfortunately, the LPC55S6x does not have PDM module(digital microphone interface (DMIC)), if you need the DMIC interface, you can use the LPC54xxx family.

Hope it can help you

Hi Xiangjun and Kamil

Thanks. I did read the DataSheet and I didn't find anything @kamil thanks.

@Xiangjun it is so weird that LPC doesn't support DMIC... The way it is marketed for its DSP Accelerator one would expect it to have the features. Imxrt is very limited unless you using 1050/60 I am rather disappointed with this. You the only one who could give a direct answer and I thank you.

The PDM mystery is solved and we continue to soldier on.

Hi Xiangjun

Thank you. Is there application note on using PDM, CMSIS DSP, Audio Cancellation and 3rd Audio?

I actually have a few LPC5410/1 here with me.

Kind Regards

Hi, Nassik,

It appears that the LPC5411x has PDM module, the LPC5410x does not have PDM module.

I suggest you download the SDK package from the link, the PDM example are included in the SDK package.

MCUXpresso SDK | Software Development for Kinetis, LPC, and i.MX MCUs | NXP

Hope it can help you

Hi, Naasik,

The LPC55S6x does not support DMIC, but the other LPC processor for example LPC5411x, LPC546xx, LPC540xx all support DMIC.

Pls download UM10912.pdf, which is the UM of LPC546xx from above link.

LPC5410x and LPC5411x are low cost processors.

Hope it can help you
