Hello, I've noticed the NXP documentation website lists a new DSC product called MC56F80xxx that uses a new DSC 56800EF core. There is no 56800EF documentation but looking in the MC56800xxx generic diagram it seems like it's a 56800EX core with three more units (a single precision FPU, a CORDIC engine and a fast divider) tightly connected to it. It's not clear if those units are accessible by way of new instructions or are memory mapped on some peripheral registers. Is there more information available or for now it's just a "preview" to reassure MC56F82xxx users that there is a successor for future developments ?
