Hey guys, I apologize if this is the wrong place for this. I recently was given a M5282LITE development board and I have a couple of questions.

1. I notice there are no pin headers on the board. I assume the reason for that is so that the user can solder their wires directly to the board. I will be using this board for hobby purposes only so I would like to solder some pin headers to it. What would be the best kind of solder to use for this board? I haven't done much soldering to PCBs so this is kind of new to me.

2. The package that the board came in, says the software on the support CD is for windows 95/98/2000/NT/XP. All of my computers are running Windows 7 on them. Is there any other software that I can use (codewarrior?) for this board? If there is nothing else I can always dual boot my computer with XP.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
