How to debug on my K64F on IAR using windows in a virtual machine?

Hallo,

i have a problem to debug my Program which is developed on IAR using CMSIS/DAP on windows.

I am using Linux mate as the main OS and Windows in the virtual machine.

The problem is that windows does't detect the USB interface of my card K64F.

I added the card like a shared disc to my virtual machine but it does't work.

Any help?

thanks in advance

Hi,

Have you tried the Vmware? From what I know the best way to run a virtual machine with real hardware is to use VMware and run a virtual XP session... it should works good with all sorts of USB drivers that seem to have trouble on win 7 and other virtual machines.. Be warned that VMware must take over exclusive use of the USB ports while running..
