A question on 68030 cpu replacement

The control system I have been working on is based on MVME 147 board with 25Mhz 68030 cpu (very old, no easy to upgrade).  Now we want to speed up the control system SW without too much work.  One easy idea is to replace the 25Mhz 68030 cpu with 40Mhz or 50Mhz 68030 cpu. 

My question is:  iit is doable?  What else need to be changed?

There is no problem to unplug/plug the cpu from 147 board.  MVME147 board is available in 20Mhz, 25Mhz, and 33Mhz, not sure why there is no 147 board for 40 or 50 Mhz.

The MVME147-012A (25MHz 8MB) can be upgraded to the MVME147-022A (33MHz 8MB) no problem, however did not see much improvement, limited to 8MB due to our mapping. Currently looking into the 162 versions
