undefined identifier 'pc'

CodeWarrior IDE v5.9.0 build 2502

Target MCF5206e

Porting some assembly code that compiled under IDE v4.1.0.3.  In particular:

jmp  (pc,d2.l*2)

This causes a number of errors to be reported; the first of which is:

" undefined indentifier 'pc' "

???  pc is a valid 5206e register. 

Any idea what might be wrong?

I assume you are coding in inline assembler (not in an assembly source file).

Am I right?

Can you then try following notation:

       jmp  0(pc, d2.l*2)
