hi,

I try to install code warrior v8.7 for powerpc family, but at the end of installation before it is all completed, I get a WDREG error, indicate 2 applications are using the WinDriver, i must quit out of the applications or cancle the installation and reboot.  I have tried exit all of the application that I am aware of it,  also try to reboot and reinstall again, but I always get the same error message at the same point.  Does anyone out there ever experience the same problem?  Or how can I find an application that is using the WinDriver?  I will appreciate any comments and feedback on this one.

Thanks!

Do you have the WindRiver tools installed as well (or another vendor's)? I've seen issues with this. Either uninstall WindRiver's tool, or you should be able to see some processes relating to WindRiver in the process list - kill them and the install should go through.

Is should be something like Windriver or Win something - If I can find my visionclick machine I'll let you know for sure.

Hello

Can you try to remove all HTI connected to your Host PC before you install the CodeWarrior software.
All interface cables (USBTAP, ...)  connected through either USB or parallel port should be disconnected from the host before you install the tools.

You should get rid of the message then.
