DQ Mapping must be indentical between two DDR controllers?

our ddr memory is 16GB with ECC, every one ddr controller connect 8GB, dram chip is MT40A1G16.

but our DQ Mapping is different between two ddr controllers, when I config dq mapping will get error like this:

The LX2 HW /registers for each controller is independent of each other and setting different DQ mapping for each controller is possible. but the existing released SW allows for only one (the same) DQ mapping for both controllers.
