Re: CodeWarrior TAP, CWH-CTP-BASE-HE

Plugging in TAP via USB or Ethernet (with USB power), TAP always has solid RED light.

Is the TAP broken, or can it be recovered?

I have 2 out of 4 TAP's doing this now, which have mostly just been sitting on a bench, plugged in.

Thanks.

You may want to contact your friendly Freescale support.

I assume that the TAP no longer enumerates as USB device under Windows.

Assuming that the TAP HW is still ok, this would indicate loss of the firmware for TBD reasons.

In that case, recovery is possible, but it requires opening the tap and it requires software tools and images not available outside Freescale.

There is nothing that can be done here on the Forum.
