Code Warrior TAP Problem

We just ordered and received two CWH-CTP-BASE-HE CodeWarrior Tap devices and one appears to be malfunctioning. Sometimes on power up, the TX/RX light flashes orange and never recovers. Other times it powers up and the TX/RX light flashes green, but after some time it eventually stops flashing and stays solid green and Windows displays the message in the attached screenshot. In both cases there is no serial output on the terminal.

 Our other CWH-CTP-BASE-HE TAP device appears to work fine on the same machine with the same USB port and cable.

Try to reinstall CodeWarrior TAP driver. See the readme.txt using the follow path:

C:\Freescale\CW4NET_v2019.01\Common\CCS\drivers\usb

 

Test your CodeWarrior TAP using Ethernet connection. See the 1.2.3.2 of CodeWarrior TAP User Guide:
