What is error 1

Sometimes when compiling with cw10.2 I get a compiler error that is just "Error 1" with a Type of "c/C++ problems". Does any one know what causes this error or how to fix it?

Hello,

look like the error parser might not parsed the error message correctly, or the compiler has produced a message 'out of format'. Have a look in the Console view (menu Window > Show View > Console in case you do not have it open). The Console view shows the full output of the compiler, so you should be see the problem there.
