Sorry to be a pain again, but just trying to get up to speed with CW.

I'm having trouble with the ide for HCS12, specifically the file tree view.

I have created my project and under the sources group I have created a number of groups that generally follow the actual structure stored on disk.
These can be up to 3 or 4 levels deep with appropriate source files in each.
I'm assuming under CW that the actual groups don't actually play any real part in the project other than for easy navigation.

However, the problem I'm having is that I can play with the project all day and save it etc but when I start up CW next time it pops up with a message box as follows.

"Files missing from File view hierarcy."
(Some files were missing from the hierarcy information
for the files view of Project "XXXX.mcp". These files have
been added to the files view hierarcy in a group called
"Rescued Items".)

Consequently, A group called 'rescued items' is created and a number of files from differing groups within the project groupings are copied there. At the same time the original corresponding files remain in their previously placed positions.

When you compile etc these files in the rescued group are marked n/a whilst the originals are compiled normally.

Any ideas what is going on?

regards
Phil
