ICS custom trim on CW 6.1

Hi,

Did anybody noticed any problem with the trim customizing feature of CW6.1?

Using CW6.0 I could set the desired ICS frequency and the NV_FTRIM and NV_ICSTRM were programmed accordingly.

Using CW6.1 I set the desired frequency for the ICS internal reference but it appears that this custom frequency is not read by CW. The debugger/BDM keeps setting the ICS to the default 16MHz operation.

Is this only happening to me?

Best regards,

Just got the word back from the engineers and you're right: that feature is broken. The problem has been reported and logged earlier. It will be fixed in the next release. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi,

I can say you are not the only one experiencing this.  I have noticed the same behavior when I upgraded from CW 6.0 to 6.1, and I'll say it's quite annoying.  For those situations requiring correct custom trim, I still use CW 6.0.  I hope they fix this in CW 6.1 or the next release.
