FDRM-K82F for Master Thesis

Hi all,

i have a question. Maybe someone can help me.

For my Master thesis i would like to build a vehicle that runs trough a road network and records it.

Something like Google Maps where you can see the roads.

The tasks of my vehicle should be:

• Lane assist (so my vehicle can follow the road)
• traffic sign recognition
• detect pedestrian crosswalk
• detect traffic lights
• ......
• .......

Is the FRDM-K82F a good choice for my master thesis?

For that board there is a demo of using the OV7670 camera. So i can save some time.

But what's about the flash memory? Mabye it's too small. Can i use an additional memory?

Hi Armend,

FRDM-K82F is a Freedom board with a 100LQFP K82 device. Also includes dual QuadSPI, touch pad, Arduino compatible footprint, and FlexIO header compatible with OV7670 camera.
