CodeWarrior for MC9S12DG256BCPV

Hi everyone,

I need to compile a project made by version 1.2 of codewarrior.

I'm a complete beginner with this kind of processor and development environment and I need some advices:

Is codewarror V1.2 still available? If not, which version I need to install for compile my old project?

Do I need to buy a license for the software or there is a free version?

this is toooo old and not supported anymore.
You can download last version of the CW and if it does not contain the device you use then use following link to add them....

Hi,

thank you for the reply. 

I saw on Digikey that MC9S12DG256BCPV is obsolete and that the replacement is the component  MC9S12DG256CPVE,. Is this component supported by Codewarrior 5.2 or I do need install 5.1 version as you adviced me?

How can I verify that the MC9S12DG256CPVE is the right replacement of MC9S12DG256BCPV?
