CW 10.3 install - Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?

I'm attempting to install CW 10.3 to a windows XP SP2 machine with no luck.

Trying both the offline and online installer.

It will get to a certain point and give me the error:  Error decompressing data! Corrupted installer?

Usually it's when extracting doc.zip but sometimes another file.  NOTE: that is with the online installer (after it downloads stuff and starts unpacking).

With the offline installer it gets part of the way and then I get (always) this error (pop-up):  7-Zip: Data error.

I have plenty of disk space, my C drive is NTFS, system is normal otherwise.

I tried also installing on a windows XP SP2 partition using Parallels 7 on the mac, and get the same kind of error!

The installer doesn't leave any hints in the system Event Viewer, not sure how to debug it.

Regards,
Marc

it looks like my ISP, Time Warner Cable of New York, is doing something to my downloads.  Using the same computer (laptop) in a different location, I was able to download the offline installer and successfully install.

I had an issue with them a couple of years ago where they were blocking Freescale's site specifically for some reason, once I logged in (not as anonymous).

Apparently they are doing some kind of stateful packet inspection which is corrupting the CW archive.
