problem with programming S08SH8

Using CW11 and Multilink Universal I can debug my S08SH8 successfully, but when I try to flash program it i get the error

Also when using the cyclone i get the Error Code $00000007 Error: Cannot enter debug mode.

I am not , and never have, used a MC9S08QE16

I know this is a very old post, but I am just tidying up. However:

1. When I say that I am not, and have never used a QE16 - that is a clue to the fact that I am NOT trying to program a QE16

2. I have only one open project, but since none of my (closed) projects use  a QE16, whether I have all or only one project open should not matter.

From your picture 

Are you are trying to program the SH or the QE device?

Please check that you only have one project open in code warrior also please check that the connection is for the SH device
