Record S0

I want to know how to manipulate the S0 record to enter version of project, hardware, and any other information.

I'm using the srecord tool (SRecord 1.64, see https://mcuoneclipse.com/2015/04/26/crc-checksum-generation-with-srecord-tools-for-gnu-and-eclipse/ ) for S-Record generation and manipulation in combination with the burner.exe.

Hi Marco,

There is no possibility to add any information to the S0. The burner does have an option to drop the path in the SRecord (-Ns=p)

and another option to drop the complete S0 record (-Ns=0). You will find the complete description of this feature in the CodeWarrior Development Studio for Microcontrollers V10.x HC(S)08/RS08/S12Z Build Tools Utilities Manual.
