How to In-Circuit Programming a MCHC908 Microcontroller

I have a .s19 file, I think it is similar to a hex file. I want to in-circuit programming it to a MC68HC908 microcontroller.

I have a P&E MON08 Multilink tool. I was told I can use it to do the programming but I do not know how.

Could you advise which pins on the microcontroller is used for the programming?

How to connect it to the Multilink tool?

And what IDE/software I can use to program it?

Thanks.

Hi,

to work with HC08, please use CW6.3

CodeWarrior for Microcontrollers-Classic IDE|NXP

I don't know what's your chip part number, but you can refer demo 908jl16 schematic. see attached. J402 is MON interface for P&E MON08 Multilink tool.

can this help you?

Have a great day,
