Hi,
We have Code warrior IDE ver 5.1 installed on our machine and observed "Code size limitation error 1856>512 bytes" error while compiling the code.
We then upgraded SW to CW ver 5.2 and still observed the error.
OS: Windows 10
Please let me know if you have any suggestion.
Thanks.

Without a license, it runs in code size limited mode. Have you installed your license file?
Or have you installed the special edition?
Hi Erich
Thanks for your reply.
I have Special Edition.
Also,do you know if CW 5.1 is compatible with Win 10?How about CW 5.2 and Win 10 compatibility?
I have CW 5.2 running on Win 10 64bit and that works fine. There are only occacional IDE crashes on IDE exit.
Thank you.
Do you suggest to install the Professional/Standard license instead of special edition to get rid of code size limitation error?
No, unless you have purchased a Pro/Standard license (then why would you use the special edition?).
You need to check the About /license box of your HI-WAVE debugger to see what his wrong with your licensing. Maybe the license file is not found?
Thank you.
