I am working on the S08SG microcontroller. What is the effect on the state of the port pins if the Reset line is held low for a considerable duration of time (For e.g. if it is accidently short circuited to Ground). Also, does the micro keep resetting multiple times for the entire duration when the reset line is pulled to low(as it is a low level triggered reset) or it resets just once when the reset line goes high again?
