Hi Community, I would like to know if the MC68HC711D3 Microcontroller is available for programming and, if so, which tools or development environments you would recommend for this purpose.

I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

Hi @jcruizITESO,

The MC68HC711D3 is part of the 68HC11 family that is currently obsolete, so our active programmers and IDEs do not support it anymore. However, you can take a look to cosmic software that have development tools that still support the 68HC11 family:

Cosmic Software - HC11 Products (cosmic-software.com)

In order to upload a program, you can take a look to the file M68HC11 Bootstrap Mode (AN1060), in there it explains the bootstrap mode that allows a user-defined program to be loaded into RAM

Another option could be a 3rd party supplier, Elnec have programmers that still support the 68HC11 family.

Hope it helps you!
