FreeMaster recorder with MC56F8006DEMO

Hi,

I'm trying to use the FreeMaster's recorder with the MC56F8006DEMO. As I tried to activate a record window in FreeMaster, I'm getting error message : the hardware recorder could not be initialized (Invalid size specified). I changed the Data buffer size, Recorder buffer length and now I have a size incompatible with bus width error.

Is there a guide to properly size the "Data buffer size", "Recorder buffer length", "Command buffer length" in the initialization of the PC_Master Bean?

I haveing use Freemaster do BLDC project, it can do  properly, but I can not find  "Data buffer size", "Recorder buffer length", "Command buffer length" , where they are?

Are you Chinese? I am doing sensorless BLDC with MC56F8006,can we communication with 8006?

You might try the using the search function to search the forums. I entered "Freemaster" and got a few hits. This https://community.freescale.com/message/45605#45605 looks the most promising. Hope it helps.

Hi Tom,

I already check most of the thread for Freemaster. No much on the freemaster's recorder.

Anyway, by trial and error, I finally find some working settings.

In my case with the MC56F8006DEMO:

- Data buffer size : 40

- Recorder buffer length : 80

- Command buffer length : 4
