IMX7D SPI-slave mode in L_4.9.11

Hi community,

I am working on SPI in IMX7D SABRESD board. I already tested by connecting two sabresd board with SPI interface in Linux-4.1.15.For that I went through i.MX6 ESPI slave mode support patch based on rel_imx_3.0.35_4.1.0 document and I also applied patch for slave in spi.imx.c (from IMX7D ESPI slave mode ).

But now I want to test this in Linux-4.9.11. As there are many changes in spi-imx.c in Linux-4.9.11, I can't apply Linux-4.1.15 patch. Is there any support for SPI slave in Linux-4.9.11?

Hello,

  NXP Linux BSP does not currently have SPI slave logic implementation.

Customers can design own specific SPI slave drivers.
