how to installing "segoe ui" fonts on to imx6qp yocto build

hi,

I am working on the imx6qp sabre AI board, with yocto build with kernel version 4.1.15.

Now I want to use the " segoe ui" fonts in my QT application please can someone help me how to use it.

on target just keeping the fonts directory is not useful.

did you have this fonts package? if yes, pls put this package to /usr/lib/fonts, then in the implayer to choose this character,

Thanks for the reply.

That did not work me on target. but yes it worked when I did below steps.

1. kept the .ttf(fonts files) in a foder and

2. used the command below  before running the app

      export QT_QPA_FOTNDIR="folder/path/of/your/fonts"

its worked ok now for my hmi.
