gplay-1.0 kernel panic imx6q

Question asked by Stefano Gurrieri on Oct 12, 2016

On my Linux embedded system, based on imx6q, I built a custom BSP with Yocto Project 2.1.1 (Krogoth).

Linux version: 4.1.15-1.2.0

While we're using gplay-1.0 to see movies, the system often goes in "kernel panic". In attachment you can find what we see.

Other times, we see:

root@mx6qroj:~# gplay-1.0 --video-sink=autovideosink /run/media/sda1/video/roj_movie.mp4

and the system is unusable.

Could you please help me to understand what it's happening...

Thanks a lot.

Stefano
