SDK error: Invalid Addresses in CMSIS-SVD File for iMXRT1170

Hello NXP team,

The CMSIS-SVD files which comes with the SDKs are used in many development environments to make the peripheral registers visible in the debugger.

For the iMXRT1160 and iMXRT1170 family the base addresses of the following registers are invalid (set to zero) in the SVD file from SDK 2.11.0:

• AUDIO_PLL
• ETHERNET_PLL
• OSC_RC_400M
• PHY_LDO
• TMPSNS
• VIDEO_PLL
• VMBANDGAP

thanks for clarification.

It was a bit confusing having these registers listed with seemingly invalid addresses. Debugger will list them as available to watch, but they will show invalid values as they refer to the ITCM (on the M7 core).

In my opinion this is misleading.

Hi @Masmiseim ,

Please refer to section 15.7 Analog IP interface. The analog peripherals you mentioned are all listed here. So, I think the address here is not in CM7 address range.
