Programming the board for production.

Hi,

   The serial downloader provides a means to download a program image to the chip over the USB OTG 1 and UART1 serial connections .

1. While flashing the board we need to connect two port (USB OTG1 and UART1) ?
2. This procedure is common for both internal flash and external qspi flash ?

No, you don't need to connect both, just the one you are planning to use.

Yes, this procedure is common for the external and internal flash.

Hi Victor,

   Thank you for your response.

   I forgot to mention part number  - imxrt 1064.

   Non-buildin flash devices like RT102x, RT105x only needed (OTG and UART) interfaces for flashing our distributor telling we can use JTAG for production flash with secure boot this case no need OTG and UART ?

   Production flash which software we need to use both internal (or) external flash ?

Hello, Vasu 

Yes, if you use JTAG you don't need either USB or UART. The software for production will depend on the debugger that you use.
