Dear Gao bo,
>>how about adm8211 or what would you think about?
I checked ADM8211 datasheet, the WIFI module uses PCI interface, which is not supported by i.MX8MQ. So you can't select it.

>>Inferface of I.MX8MQ for WIFI module
---SDIO interface
---PCIe interface
---USB interface
The WIFI module you select must support one of above interface. Actually you have many choice , such as NXP's wifi , Broadcomm, QCA, Realtek etc.
1. NXP's WIFI
Wi-Fi® + Bluetooth | NXP

2. Others
----QCA9880 with PCIe interface
----INTEL9260 with PCIe interface
Some customers have successfully used them.
----LBEE5KL1PJ based on QCA9377 with SDIO interface
the module is supported by i.MX8M Mini.
>>Software
you don't need to worry about software, even if our linux BSP doen't support the WIFI module you select by default, you can also port it to our linux BSP. Generally speaking, you should ask provider to give you materials below:
(1) Poring documents for you linux bsp version.
(2) Drivers for SDIO or PCIe interface.
(3) Firmware.
Hope above contents are helpful to you!
Have a nice day!
